I build AI systems that survive contact with users.
I am Somay Kousis, an AI engineer focused on agentic systems, retrieval workflows, and bounded authority for AI agents. Right now I am co-founder and CEO of aye aye and building Standout Network on contract, after an orchestration internship at RYSE Technologies. My own work lately is about how much you can let an agent do before you have quietly lost control of it. My strongest work sits where model behavior, state design, and user experience have to agree.
Agentic orchestration, retrieval and memory systems, capability-bounded authorization for AI agents, and evaluation harnesses that report false-refusal rate alongside catch rate, not catch rate alone.
Co-founder and CEO of aye aye (pre-launch, waitlist open) and contract engineer on Standout Network. Researching AI control on the side, and building in public throughout.
